Дәрігерлік.One of the main Kazakh clothing is the shapan or chapan — a spacious long dressing gown. These robes are not as gender specific as other clothes, and both men and women commonly wear them. Shapan is sewn from various fabrics and colors although most often in the main monochrome or dark colors. These are lined with a layer of wool or cotton wool. Kazakhstan is a country with a rather weak political influence in the world, but its culture is very rich and unique. Locals traditionally are used to showing their status with their attire. Traditional national costume of any country has always been the epitome of local beliefs, legends, history and culture. While poorer people traditionally wore clothes made from animal skins, the rich could afford to make theirs from more luxurious materials such as silk or velvet. Men traditionally wear dark-colored clothing. The most common piece of clothing for men is the shapan, which is a long robe that goes down to the feet. Another important item of clothing is the kolpak, a type of hat that protects from the sun and the cold. Depending on the season, people would wear different types of shoes.
